Telugu Desam Party appears to be very much desperate to see that YSR Congress party gets merged with the Congress party at any cost.
Loud-mouth legislator of the TDP A Revanth Reddy on Friday said the time was not far off when the YSR Congress party merged with the Congress.
“It was very much evident that the YSR Congress party had voted for Congress leader Pranab Mukherjee in the Presidential elections only after entering into compromise with the Congress for securing bail for Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. By voting for Pranab, Jagan has exposed his true colours,” Revanth said.
Apparently, the TDP hopes that if there is a merger of the YSR Congress with the Congress, it would help prevent splitting of anti-establishment vote and the TDP would gets benefited in the direct fight. But according to the political observers, it is a far-fetched thinking and the TDP gets wiped out in the triangular fight!
