Rajamouli Missed Golden Period
However, ‘Eega’ has been getting postponed from nearly the last six months. And now, the market pundits are saying that Rajamouli has actually missed the golden period ie the summer season. Apparently, if ‘Eega’ came in summer many kids would have grabbed the opportunity to watch it given the theme and the graphics buzz.
But schools have begun so the only way to watch the film would be during weekend only. So far, the tough taskmaster is yet to come out with a confirmed date so it may not be a surprise if he would postpone it to the quarterly vacation for the schools. The plus for him is, he has following from all sections of audience so though he lost the golden period he might come up with a plan to make up for it.

'Gabbar Singh' Director Becomes Godfather
The thumb rule for success in the cinema industry is that one needs a Godfather and that too a good one. And sometimes even those from the film related families cannot survive without such mentors. Right now, one man seems to have joined the list of Godfathers and he is none other than Harish Shankar.
After having made the film ‘Gabbar Singh’ sources say he has become the guide for Shruti Haasan. What started as a journey of being called as ‘Iron Leg’ changed overnight with Harish projecting Shruti in an appealing way. Not stopping at that, it is heard that Harish is already trying to place Shruti for his next project with Junior NTR.
Whether Shruti realizes what Harish has done to her career or not, the cine folks have already discovered that. For now, there is a talk that Junior NTR is not keen on having Shruti since he has not forgotten what she did for the film ‘Dammu’ but Harish is reportedly pushing the case strongly and it could work out.
YSR Would've Been In Jail Now: Damodar
Despite losing heavily in the recent by-elections, the Congress leaders appears to have not learnt any lessons and they continue to lose their tongue at former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and his family.
Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha, who was given the ministerial post by YSR, does not even have the gratitude towards him. He said YSR would have been in jail, had he been alive now. “He was indicted by the CBI, as he had favoured industrialists who had invested in his son Jaganmohan Reddy’s business empire. The CBI’s charge sheets submitted to the court clearly indicated that YSR was the real culprit. And when former Karnataka CM B S Yeddyurappa can go to jail, why can’t YSR,” he said.
Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao, too, made a similar comment. YSR had resorted to several irregularities during his regime and the Congress had to pay a penalty for the same. “We have failed to take our party programmes and policies into the people and expose YSR’s misdeeds. We should have apologized to the people for the corruption during YSR regime,” he said.
Japan to restart two nuclear reactors
MOSCOW: Japan announced Saturday it will resume operations at two nuclear reactors, the first to come back online since all the country's plants were shut down following last year's Fukushima crisis, the Kyodo news agency reported.
Prime Minister Yoshiko Noda said the restart at the Oi nuclear power plant, in central Fukui prefecture, was necessary to avert power shortages.
It will take up to six weeks to get the reactors fully operational, the plant's operators said.
Noda made the announcement at a cabinet meeting following the approval of Fukui Governor Issei Nishikawa.
Japanese authorities ordered the closure of all of the country's 50 reactors for maintenance or safety checks after a powerful earthquake and tsunami triggered a meltdown at the Fukushima power plant in March 2011.
Japan relied on nuclear power for about 30 percent of its energy needs before the shutdowns.
The decision to restart the Oi reactors comes amid widespread public concern about nuclear safety.
On Friday, hundreds of demonstrators gathered outside the prime mister's office to protest the move.

"I'm Jhunjhunwala", not India's Buffett
MUMBAI: India's best known stock investor, billionaire Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, doesn't much like the moniker of 'India's Warren Buffett'.
"It's not a fitting comparison. In terms of wealth and success and maturity, he's far, far ahead," says Jhunjhunwala in an interview at his office in a prime location in Mumbai overlooking the Arabian Sea.
Much like the famed Omaha investor, Jhunjhunwala has made a fortune from some savvy investments - Forbes magazine puts his net worth at $1.1 billion, ranking him 41st on India's rich list - but the similarities end there. Dressed simply in a white shirt and grey pants, he draws heavily on a cigarette, burps loudly, tells ribald jokes and peppers his interview with the cliches and one-liners that have become his stock-in-trade.

India climbs into top 10 wealth markets: Report
NEW DELHI: India is poised to occupy the sixth position in the top 10 wealth markets this year after edging out Spain for 10th slot in 2011, says a report.
"Uncertainty about the future of the euro and the worsening of the sovereign crisis in Europe are predicted to cause continuing problems, but many emerging markets are expected to continue marching ahead," according to Datamonitor's 2012 global wealth market report.
The report further said the world order of wealth markets is witnessing a tilt towards emerging economies which are expected to overtake their Western European counterparts going forward.

The report further said the world order of wealth markets is witnessing a tilt towards emerging economies which are expected to overtake their Western European counterparts going forward.
The top 10 wealth markets, in terms of dollar millionaire holdings at the end of 2011, in descending order, were the US, Japan, China, the UK, Germany, Italy, Canada, France, Brazil, and India, it said.
Moreover, the cumulative value of the liquid assets held by millionaires in the emerging economies of Brazil, China, and India are likely to triple to USD 4.6 trillion from USD 1.5 trillion between 2006 and 2015.
India, in particular, will experience explosive growth, and is anticipated to jump sixth place by the end of 2012, the report said.
Top 10 wealth markets in 2015 will be the US at number one, with China in second place, followed by Japan, the UK, Germany, India, Brazil, Italy, Canada, and France, it added.
Some of the mature markets have, however, proven more resilient, with the UK and the US, in particular, expected to perform strongly. The US will remain the largest high net worth market in the world till 2015, the report said.
Spain's fall from the top 10 wealth market in 2011 was largely due to the combination of its poor performance and the explosive growth seen in India and Brazil, the report said.
"The collapse of Spanish real estate and the highest unemployment rate in Western Europe are taking their toll on the market, and the austerity measures recently announced by the government are further aggravating growth prospects for the already struggling sector,"Datamonitor said.

Differences in NDA, decision on presidential nominee deferred
NEW DELHI: Strong reservations from key ally JD (U) over pitting a candidate against UPA nominee Pranab Mukherjee today forced the NDA to defer its decision on the presidential election.
At a two-hour inconclusive meeting of the NDA, the JD (U) is believed to have disfavoured a fight against Mukherjee because of his stature but BJP is said to have been keen on backing former Speaker P A Sangma, who has been propped up by BJD and AIADMK with an eye on the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
After the meeting at BJP leader L K Advani's residence, from which BJP's oldest ideological allyShiv Sena kept away, NDA convener Sharad Yadav merely said more discussions were needed to arrive at a right decision.
"The NDA meeting took place today. Various leaders put forth their views in detail. More discussions are required in this regard to arrive at the right decision.
"L K Advani will talk to chief ministers of NDA-ruled states and all others. NDA will meet sometime later again to take a decision in this regard. Those outside (Delhi) will also be consulted," Yadav told reporters after the meeting.
The JD(U), which shares power with BJP in Bihar, was clear that there is no strong purpose served by contesting against Mukherjee, a tall leader with vast experience in government and Parliament, and more so when the UPA has a clear edge in the electoral college.
However, BJP leaders including Advani and Sushma Swaraj are understood to have argued that Mukherjee should not go uncontested, especially in view of the Lok Sabha polls due two years hence.
The BJP is said to be keen on supporting Sangma so that the alliance could rope in parties like BJD and AIADMK that could be valuable in the next Lok Sabha elections.
While Yadav did make the point against contesting Mukherjee, he was not averse to going with the BJP should it persist with a fight in the presidential election.
However, Shivanand Tiwari, the other JD(U) leader, who is considered close to Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar, strongly opposed a contest. This is seen as an attempt by Nitish Kumar to keep his options open.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Mukherjee had called Kumar on Friday seeking JD(U)'s support for the UPA candidate.
BJP leaders remained tight-lipped after the meeting and downplayed any differences within the NDA, saying more consultations were required as it is a democratic alliance.
BJP leaders felt Advani should stay in touch with AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa and BJD chief Naveen Patnaik so that the options of a contest are still open.
Shiv Sena, the oldest ideological ally of the BJP, skipped the key meeting of alliance leaders here, triggering speculation the party was opposed to a fight due to lack of numbers.
"Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackerey will take a decision on the issue," said party leader Sanjay Raut, when asked about speculation that the Sena was against fielding any candidate against Pranab Mukherjee, UPAs presidential nominee.
Shiv Sena had not backed former Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat in the presidential poll last time despite BJP and several others in the alliance supporting him.

Resolute Saina Nehwal clinches third straight Indonesia Open trophy
NEW DELHI: Olympic-bound Indian badminton ace Saina Nehwal displayed nerves of steel to clinch her third Indonesia Open Super Series title after beating China's Xuerui Li in a see-saw summit clash in Jakarta on Sunday.
The fifth seed, who had won the Thailand Open last week, defeated Li 13-21 22-20 21-19 in an hour and four minutes to lift her third title of the year.
"It was a really, really tough and I love the crowd here. It's really nice here. Whenever I enter the court, I feel like a champion here," said the world number five 22-year-old, who has earlier clinched the title in 2009 and 2010.
It was a battle of attrition for Saina against an opponent to whom she had lost four times and won just once -- that too way back in 2010 -- previously.
The start was ominous for Saina as she conceded four successive points. The two players seemed engaged in a battle of smashes and were at par with each other when it came to baseline rallies.
But it was the netplay in which Li enjoyed the upper hand with her delicate winners that Saina found hard to counter in the opening game.
Li took an 11-6 lead with her seventh smash winner of the game leaving Saina with a lot of catching up to do. The Chinese girl's strategy was to engage Saina in aggressive baseline rallies before forcing her to commit errors from close range.
The exhaustion of a couple of hard-fought matches in the previous rounds also showed on Saina's on-court movement and her returns seemed sluggish.
The Indian could not breach the lead that Li had taken at the very start and although the Chinese floundered a bit in the middle of the game, Saina failed to capitalise and lost the opener in 15 minutes. In all, Li sent down 13 smash winners against Saina's eight.
Li's superior netplay clinched seven points for her while Saina settled for just four in the opening game.
In the second game, Saina staged a recovery and finally got into the lead at 7-4 after a couple of miscued shots by the fourth seeded Li at the far court.
Fortunes fluctuated sharply in the exhausting second game. An erratic Saina, who led 11-7 and 18-14 at one stage, lost her way for a while before saving a championship point at 18-20 and going on to win the game and stay afloat in the match.
Saina played to her strength, smashing 16 winners as Li's baseline game became erratic even though she kept breathing down the Indian's neck all through.
Statistically, there was hardly anything to separate the two players, but a few errors in judgement by Li proved decisive.
Pumped up after equalising, Saina started off dominantly in the decisive third game and took a 5-2 lead. But after that it became a see-saw battle with Saina trailing 10-11 at break.
But the Indian managed to nose ahead, grabbing a 19-16 lead.
However, Saina let slip a championship point before clinching the game, match and the trophy when Li smashed a backhand stroke into the net.
