లండన్‌: 'స్పాట్‌ ఫిక్సింగ్‌' ఆరోపణలకుగాను పాక్‌ లెగ్‌ స్పిన్నర్‌ డానిష్‌ కనేరియాపై ఇంగ్లండ్‌ అండ్‌ వేల్స్‌ క్రికెట్‌ బోర్డు (ఇసిబి) జీవిత కాల నిషేధాన్ని విధించింది. కౌంటీ క్రికెట్‌లో భాగంగా 2009లో డర్హామ్‌తో జరిగిన మ్యాచ్‌లో ఎసెక్స్‌ తరఫున˜ ఆడిన కనేరియా ఇంగ్లీష్‌ బౌలర్‌ మెర్విన్‌ వెస్ట్‌ఫీల్డ్‌ను ప్రలోభపెట్టి భారీగా పరుగులిప్పించాడన్న ఆరోపణలు రుజువు కావడంతో ఇసిబి ఈ నిషేధానికి పూనుకుంది. దీని ప్రకారం కనేరియా తన జీవిత కాలంలో ఇసిబి పరిథిలో జరిగే ఏ మ్యాచ్‌లోనైనా ఆడటంగానీ, నిర్వహించడం గానీ చేయరాదు. ఈ వ్యవహారంలో వెస్ట్‌ఫీల్డ్‌ గతంలోనే తన నేరాన్ని అంగీకరించడంతో అతనిపై ఐదేళ్ళ నిషేధాన్ని విధించి, చివరి రెండేళ్ళలో క్లబ్‌ క్రికెట్‌ ఆడుకొనే అవకాశాన్ని కల్పించారు. ఆ మ్యాచ్‌లో తక్కువ స్థాయి ప్రదర్శన కనబరిస్తే 6 వేల పౌండ్లు యిస్తామని ఆశచూపారని, దానికి తాను అంగీకరించానని ప్రకటించిన వెస్ట్‌ఫీల్డ్‌ నాలుగు మాసాల జైలు శిక్ష కూడా అనుభవించాడు. 2010లో కనేరియాను కూడా అరెస్టు చేసినప్పటికీ ఎలాంటి 'ఛార్జ్‌' నమోదు చేయకుండానే విడిచిపెట్టారు, 'కనేరియా చర్యలు క్రికెట్‌కు ప్రమాదకరమైనని, ఈ అవినీతి క్యాన్సర్‌లా వ్యాపించకముందే కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం వుందని' ఇసిబి క్రమశిక్షణా కమిటీ పేర్కొంది.

హైదరాబాద్‌ (వి.వి) : అక్రమాస్తుల కేసులో అరెస్టయి చంచల్‌గూడ జైల్లో వున్న వైఎస్‌ జగన్‌ నాంపల్లి కోర్టులో శనివారం ఒక మెమో దాఖలు చేశారు. ఈ నెల25వ తేదీన తన రిమాండ్‌ ముగు స్తుందని, అదే రోజు తనను కోర్టు విచా రించనుం దని అందులో తెలిపారు. ఈసారి జరిగే విచార ణకు తాను కోర్టుకు నేరుగా హాజరవుతానని,తనను వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్‌ ద్వారా విచారించవద్దని ఆయన కోర్టును కోరారు. ఈ మేరకు జైలు అధికారులకు ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేయాలని జగన్‌ కోర్టును కోరారు. జగన్‌ను ఒకసారి కోర్టుకు వ్యాన్‌లో తీసుకువచ్చిన సమయంలో జరిగిన రచ్చ దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకొని ఇంత వరకు ఆయన్ని కోర్టు వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్‌ ద్వారానే విచారిస్తూ వస్తోంది. అయితే జగన్‌ దీనికి భిన్నంగా కోర్టులో మెమో దాఖలు చేయడం సం చలనం రేపింది. దీనిపై కోర్టు ఎలా స్పందిస్తుందోనని న్యాయ నిపుణులు ఎదురు చూస్తున్నారు.
