SS Rajamouli Made It Clear

SS Rajamouli made it clear that the gossips surrounding him with respect to directing Balakrishna are false. It has been gossiped from a while that Rajamouli is directing Balakrishna’s 100th film. But he dropped the curtain down with his new tweet:

"News about me doing Balakrishna garu's 100th film is false" tweeted Rajamouli.

Rajamouli is riding high with the success of the film ‘Eega’ right now and heading towards making film with Prabhas, next.

And coming to Balakrishna’s 100th film, sources say that the chances may go to VV Vinayak. It is needless to say that there will be ample pressure on the director to make the 100th film of Balayya a big hit.

Heavy rains kill nine in Hyderabad

Nine people, including two women and three children, were killed in incidents of wall collapse in Hyderabad as heavy rains since Friday night lashed the city throwing normal life out of gear and inundating over 50 colonies, officials said Saturday.

Five people, including a woman, were killed when the compound wall of a factory fell on their huts in Balanagar area on the outskirts in the early hours of Saturday, police said. Three of the victims are labourers from Madhya Pradesh......

TDP praying for merger of Jagan party with Cong!

Telugu Desam Party appears to be very much desperate to see that YSR Congress party gets merged with the Congress party at any cost.

Loud-mouth legislator of the TDP A Revanth Reddy on Friday said the time was not far off when the YSR Congress party merged with the Congress.

“It was very much evident that the YSR Congress party had voted for Congress leader Pranab Mukherjee in the Presidential elections only after entering into compromise with the Congress for securing bail for Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. By voting for Pranab, Jagan has exposed his true colours,” Revanth said.

Apparently, the TDP hopes that if there is a merger of the YSR Congress with the Congress, it would help prevent splitting of anti-establishment vote and the TDP would gets benefited in the direct fight. But according to the political observers, it is a far-fetched thinking and the TDP gets wiped out in the triangular fight!

Polavaram bids: Links shift from TRS to TDP!

Not long ago, the Telugu Desam Party had raised hue and cry over the alleged rigging of Polavaram major irrigation project tenders by the ruling Congress party to benefit C Rajam of SEW Constructions, a business partner of Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao in the Namasthe Telangana daily as part of the deal to dilute the Telangana agitation.

Subsequently the tenders were cancelled and fresh bids were invited for the Polavaram project. After a lot of filtering, the government selected Soma Constructions for awarding the tenders, which were opened on Friday, as it was the lowest bidder (L-1). And ironically, Soma Group is headed by industrialist Maganti Rajendra Prasad, who is said to have close links with the Telugu Desam Party. Of course, Soma also had connections with Progressive Constructions promoted in the past by Congress MP from Eluru Kavuri Sambasiva Rao.

Now, it remains to be seen how the TDP leaders would react, if its rivals allege a secret understanding between the TDP and the Congress to bag the Polavaram tenders.
