Despite the fact that the percentage of truth is becoming lesser and the focus is more on sensationalism, the power that media has been getting over the past few years in India is phenomenal. But then few yellow media circles in Andhra Pradesh are taking some protective measures.
The reason for that is Y S Jagan. Apparently, they are anticipating that in the year 2014 Jagan’s YSR Congress Party will come to power and dealing with him is not an easy task. The fear factor has increased and the yellow media is now adopting a particular strategy to stay away from trouble.
It is heard that for now they will make a lot of noise opposing YSRCP and show the party in a negative light. But if the same following and movement for YSRCP still continues then 2013 they will become neutral. After that, they will start becoming pro-Jagan. All this is purely for survival. Once Jagan comes to power for 5 years they are sure that their business will be shutdown if they continue their onslaught hence this strategy.
