This was the opinion expressed by Rayalaseema Aikya Vedika convenor and minister for minor irrigation T G Venkatesh.
“The TRS president is playing with danger by riding the Telangana tiger. He cannot continue to ride for a long time; and the same time, if he gets down and drops the movement, he will be finished,” Venkatesh said.
The minister made it clear that there was no question of finding any solution to the Telangana issue before 2014 elections.
“If KCR is trying to bring pressure on the Centre for Telangana, we will also not keep quiet. As soon as he returns from Delhi, we will go there and bring pressure on the Centre to keep the state united,” he said.
Supporting the stand taken by Rayalaseema Telugu Desam Party leader Byreddy Rajasekhara Reddy against the state bifurcation issue, Venkatesh said the state could be developed only if it remains united.
