Congress party whip T Jayaprakash Reddy alias Jagga Reddy lashed out at senior party leader and former Rajya Sabha member K Kesava Rao for giving a call to the Telangana MLAs and ministers to pull down the Kiran Kumar Reddy government to achieve separate Telangana.
Alleging that Kesava Rao was acting like a covert for Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao, the Sangareddy MLA said the so-called senior leaders were sabotaging the party by conspiring against the government. He demanded that Kesava Rao be expelled from the Congress party. “First of all, he has to make it clear whether he is in the Congress party or not. Otherwise, he has to tender an unconditional apology,” Jagga Reddy said.
He also lashed out at union minister for petroleum S Jaipal Reddy for making critical comments against the Chief Minister. “What is wrong in Kiran writing letters to the Centre seeking gas for the state? Jaipal should come out with a white paper on his contribution to the development of the state. He is just playing politics by sitting in Delhi and conspiring with some leaders against the Kiran Kumar Reddy government. He is unfit to be a union minister.” Jagga Reddy alleged.
