South Central Railway (SCR), which has its headquarters in Secunderabad, has announced that a new train would be started between Secunderabad and Kolhapur. The CPRO K Sambasiva Rao has said that this train would be a special service that would shuttle between the two stations only between August 14 and August 23. He has also said that this service would be started keeping in view the heavy rush between these two stations this week.
The train bearing the number 07143 would be operative on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. The train would leave for Kolhapur station from Secunderabad at 11.10 pm and would arrive at Kolhapur at 10.45 pm the next day.
