The presence of Tamil films and Tamil heroes has always been strong in the Tollywood circuit. That is one reason why the likes of Vikram, Suriya, Karthi, Ajith have their own share of fan base in Andhra Pradesh. At the same time, they are also trying to expand their presence by bagging the Telugu rights.
However, all that seems to be dipping down and the reason for that is our heroes pushing the pedal and coming up with back to back films. On the other hand, the Tamil films which released recently have not fared well at the box office which has discouraged the buyers here to take them.
Incidentally, the quantity of dubbed Tamil movie releases has also come down in the recent past due to various factors. At a time when the Tamil heroes were doing very well in Tollywood, it looks like the trend has reversed as our heroes are seriously working on stretching their arms into Kollywood.
