The moment has come for Sandalwood to feel proud. The industry was born with the film ‘Sathi Sulochana’ in 1934 and after 78 years one man has made it proud. He is actor Sudeep. History has shown that the Tamil Nadu heroes Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan rocked India and became national icons.
And now, Sudeep is on his way. Already, he made his presence felt strongly due to RGV’s film ‘Phoonk’ ‘Rann’ and ‘Rakta Charitra’. Now, with ‘Eega’ he has created another strong ripple. Soon, ‘Eega’ will be going to Hindi in 3D version so Bollywood audience will see him in December again. That way, from the Sandalwood industry Sudeep has become a national icon and no wonder that the Kannadigas are quite happy.
