Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu might have managed to get out of the case against his alleged illegal assets due to his manipulative tactics in High Court, but his troubles are far from over.
The Supreme Court on Wednesday admitted the petition of YSR Congress party honorary president Y S Vijayalakshmi seeking a probe into the illegal assets of Naidu and 16 others......
She filed the petition challenging the High Court order in February, dismissing her public interest litigation petition on technical grounds. The case was posted to July 23 for hearing.
If the Supreme Court takes up the case seriously, then it would be the beginning of yet another ordeal for Naidu. However, being a master manipulator, Naidu is capable of managing the investigating agencies and get a clean chit from them, so that even the Supreme Court will be compelled to dismiss the case.
The YSR Congress party leaders are confident that they would get justice in the Supreme Court as there was a merit in the case.
