And another name to join the list is Saina Nehwal. She has created history by becoming the first badminton player in history to get an Olympics medal for India. A lot of sacrifice and hardwork has gone behind Saina’s achievement. To quote an example, Saina declined some juicy endorsement deals to focus on her Olympics preparation.
It is heard that many major companies came forward to rope Saina but she politely said no. After winning the Thailand Open and Indonesian Open Saina became a hot property in ad circuit but more than the greed for money, her desire was for honour and finally her sacrifice has paid off.
