A lot of dirty things happen in India in the name of caste, religion and creed. And that is one major reason why the crooked politicians survive by exploiting this sentiment. But then there are always exceptions and those good men who tend to stand as a perfect example for communal harmony.
One such person is lyricist Seetarama Sastry. According to sources, he has adopted a Muslim boy. Though it is not in a traditional manner, it is heard that the boy is just like his son and he has been growing under Seetarama Sastry’s wings. The reasons for taking this Muslim boy are not known.
A Brahmin doing this is unheard of. Buzz is that Sastry is also planning to arrange for the Haj yatra to the boy and the elders in his family. Usually, once Haj pilgrimage is done, lots of rules are to be followed. That’s why youngsters don’t go. But it is heard that the elders of this boy’s family are likely to make that trip, thanks to Sastry.
Insiders reveal that the boy has been going through prayers during this Ramzan time at Seetarama Sastry’s home and is following his regular rituals. In today’s times where own blood is not trusted, this is the best example for religious tolerance and humanity. Hats off Seetarama Sastry!!
