Overseas Boxoffice: Mixed Cocktail!!


Just like the domestic market, the overseas market also holds a significant position for the Tollywood circuit. The recent spree of releases have ended up with mixed collections and here is a glance at who scored how much.

According to the report, ‘Julayi’ has collected $ 5,69,436 [Rs. 3.15 crores] on 46 screens during the first weekend. The per screen average has worked out to $ 12,379 including the collections of Wednesday and Thursday. ‘Andhala Rakshasi’ collected $ 4,287 [Rs. 2.37 lacs] on 5 screens during its first weekend with the per screen average working out to $ 857.

The strong movie ‘Eega’ has reached the sixth weekend and collected $ 2,672 on 4 screens. Here, the per screen average has worked to $ 668 taking the total collection to $ 10,86,761 [Rs. 6.02 crores].
Last but not the least

UU KODATHARA ULIKKI PADATHARA: In its third weekend, the film has collected $ 158 on 2 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 79. Total: $ 83,757 [Rs. 46.37 lacs].
All the above figures are from reported screens only. So, if the collection from other screens is taken then an additional 20% can be added to the total figures.
