Today, Sanjay Dutt was asked by the Supreme Court if he was friends with the underworld don, Dawood Ibrahim in a hearing of the 1993 Mumbai blasts case in which the Bollywood star had been convicted.
Sanjay Dutt’s laywer, Harish Salve, had read out aloud the confession made by Sanjay Dutt that he had a dinner with the underworld Don in Dubai but there was no friendship between them. The lawyer also answered that their relation was restricted to the film shootings.

Later he was acquitted with graver charges under theTerrorist and Disruptive Activities Act (TADA) law, which is now defunct.
