State Will Go To Dogs, If Telangana Is Given

As the Telangana activists are getting ready to revive the agitation for separate state, the Seemandhra leaders, too, have started raising their pitch against the state bifurcation triggering a tense situation in the state again.

If it was Telugu Desam Party leader Byreddy Rajasekhara Reddy who raised the demand for separate Rayalaseema state in the event of bifurcation of the state, it was the turn of senior leader and former minister Gade Venkat Reddy to add fuel to fire by strongly opposing the Telangana formation. “See, what will happen if the Centre grants the Telangana state? From the very next day, there would be demands for separate Rayalaseema and separate North Telangana. The state of Andhra Pradesh will go to dogs and it would be a major threat to the integrity of the country as a whole,” he said.
