Following the booking of a criminal case against Sakshi reporter K Yadagiri Reddy apart from Nacharam inspector M Srinivasa Rao, the YSR Congress leaders made a representation to the Director General of Police stating that they had absolutely no intention to defame Chandrabala.
“We never made any derogatory comments against her. All that we sought to know was why Lakshminarayana had made so many calls to her and why she had made calls to Andhra Jyothy managing director V Radhakrishna. We have full respect towards women,” YSR Congress leaders Sucharita and Vasireddy Padma said.
They said they had every right to suspect the CBI officials for making several calls to media persons and others.
“We only want the government to order a detailed inquiry into the whole episode,” the YSRCP leaders demanded.
