There was an unfortunate incident at the pre-marriage celebrations young hero Ram Charan Teja, son of megastar and Congress MP K Chiranjeevi on Monday night.
Even as the family was enjoying the evening to celebrate “Sangeeth” programme at Annapurna Studios, Chiranjeevi’s grand daughter (daughter of his elder daughter Sushmita) fell down from a building and sustain head injuries. She was immediately shifted to Apollo Hospitals in Jubilee Hills, where she is undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit.
What surprised everybody was that Chiranjeevi’s family members and their continued with dancing, boozing and dining programme as usual, unmindful of the tragic accident of his grand daughter. May be the family members did not want to disturb the party and might have deliberately played down the accident. And it could even be not so serious accident.
But there were comments that if such incidents happen in anybody’s place, the celebrations would have been either put off or cancelled till it is ensured that the accident victim is safe and has recovered. Since it is the wedding celebration of a highly-popular celebrity and is also a question of prestige for the family, they might have taken it easy. Yet, there were comments that celebrities have no sentiments!
