The amount of discussions which have been happening about director S S Rajamouli has been on a high. The reason for that is his ambitious project 'Eega' which looks set to change the course of Tollywood history.
While that is one side, here is something concrete. It is heard that Rajamouli has created a new record. Sources reveal he has sold the Tamil rights of 'Eega' to a whopping Rs 5 crores. Usually, the big star films are sold for a maximum of Rs 50 lakhs. So one can imagine the impact Rajamouli has created.
However, producer Sai Korrapati has kept it low and has reportedly mentioned that the film has been sold for a good price and added that sci-fi genre is universally appealing and Rajamouli's work is known to the Tamil audience. That's the 'Eega' story for you folks.
