The colors of an attire displays the moods of an individual and that’s how Sonia Gandhi seems to have conveyed her intentions clearly when she was nominating the candidate for the post of President. Unlike her regular contour sarees, it is heard that Sonia was seen sporting a sprightly green saree.
Her choice of a bright colour unlike her conservative colours came as a surprise to many as she was seen congratulating Pranab Mukherjee. On one hand, her ally Mamata Banerjee had rejected the idea of Pranab as President but Sonia projected a positive image with her style statement.
And it is not just Sonia but even Pranab who seems to have taken to this fashion trend. Despite the heat that’s on, Pranab has been sporting the formal Bandhgala. The analysts feel he knew what was in store for him before hand and all he did was prepare for it.
