This is the film ‘Sathi Leelavathi’. Well, this happens to be a dubbed version of the Tamil film ‘Karungaali’ and the role that Anjali has done. She has essayed the role of a village girl who gets married and comes to city. But the couple is unable to bear children. She goes to a lady doctor and the doctor’s husband lusts on Anjali.
Taking advantage of her village ignorance, the doctor’s hubby approaches her and misleads her that by sleeping with him, her problem is solved. Anjali commits out of fear and guilt for her hubby. Now, this is a rather shady character that Anjali has done and on the other hand, there is buzz that her role is that of Seethamma in ‘SVSC’. So, the worry is will it damage the image of that character? Let us wait and see.
