DMK treasurer MK Stalin is likely to meet Sonia Gandhi on Thursday to discuss the UPA’s presidential nominee. Though Sonia Gandhi wanted to hold consultations with the DMK chief, the latter sent Stalin.
On behalf of Sonia Gandhi, Defence Minister AK Antony already held preliminary discussions with Karunanidhi last month on the issue of Presidential candidate of UPA.Stalin, who arrived here tonight and met former Union Minister A Raja for 15 minutes, said that he could not meet the former minister after he was released.
